Psycho Mouse is a rollercoaster at California's Great America, and was the final Mad Mouse to be built by Arrow Dynamics before they went bankrupt.
The coaster opened in 2001 and features the familiar steep drops and incredibly tight corners characteristic of the ubiquitous wild mouse rides seen at parks and fairs around the world. It is, however, one of only four Mad Mouse models built by Arrow Dynamics: the already financially struggling company had used the model unsuccessfully as an attempt to generate some income with an easy-to-sell product.
As wild mice go, Psycho Mouse is fairly gentle. Arrow's design has more banking in the corners than other manufacturers have built into their models, the drops are a bit less severe, and the Arrow track generally looks a little old fashioned compared with other designs.
Psycho Mouse is a nice enough wild mouse coaster for sure, but is probably more interesting because of its historic status as the last of Arrow's Mad Mouse coasters rather than anything overly exciting about the ride itself.
