Nearing the top of the lift hill
The Mickey's Toontown area opened at Disneyland in January 1993 and featured a new junior rollercoaster, Gadget's Go Coaster. The ride is themed around the Disney TV show Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and is named after one of its characters, Gadget Hackwrench.
The rollercoaster itself is a fairly typical Vekoma kiddie coaster, although the ride area is well themed with plenty of colourful scenery and has a large tree which the train travels through. The coaster is smooth, although large adults might find the seats a bit of a tight squeeze.
The ride is under a minute long, and most of the time is taken in ascending the lift hill. The actual time spend hurtling around the track is only 20 seconds or so!
