Six Flags Magic Mountain's Batman: The Ride was the third installation in the series of Batman rollercoaster clones to open at Six Flags parks across the United States.
In common with the other versions, Magic Mountain's Batman is a B&M Inverted Coaster which dangles trains and riders below the track rather than seated on top as on standard rollercoaster models.
Batman: The Ride tops out at 105 feet tall and can reach a top speed of 50mph. It has five inversions, comprising two vertical loops separated by a zero-G roll, and two wing-over corkscrew style elements. Similarly to the other clones, it is one of the more intense B&M Inverters, with sustained positive G forces pushing against riders for much of the ride.
The Batman series of rides are famous for their smoothness, wild intensity and relentless pacing. Magic Mountain's version shares the same properties, and manages to hold its own against the massive and impressive lineup of other coasters on offer at the theme park.
