Opening along with the park on 5 June 1971, River King Mine Train is the oldest rollercoaster at Six Flags St Louis.
The coaster is an Arrow Development Mine Train and is named after the River King Coal Mine which operated in the St Louis area.
River King Mine Train features red mine cart themed cars which accommodate three rows of two riders per car, with five cars making up the mine train.
During the ride, guests experience several fairly gentle hills and corners, three lift hills and a tunnel during the last drop.
As the tamest of Six Flags St Louis' coasters, the Mine Train provides some family friendly thrills and is suitable for both children and adults.
