Venture into the two-storey ghostly mansion aboard a suspended gondola...
|Fairs Attended||Hyde Park Winter Wonderland (from 2007)|
|Audience||Older Families and Thrillseekeers|
Dutch showman Johan Hinsen's Haunted Mansion is much more than your average fairground ghost train.
The ride features suspended gondolas which hang beneath the overhead track, meaning that riders sit with their legs dangling freely as they make their journey through the house.
There are numerous scary scenes to see over two floors, brought to life with good quality animatronics, lighting and special effects. Not to mention the occasional live actor who is likely to make you jump out of your skin!
The ride is beautifully presented, with some great theming across its frontage. Inside, the scenes are impressive and much better than seen in most ghost trains. There are some genuine jump scares to be had, and the experience is made all the more special by the suspended cars.
