Ice Mountain is a mostly enclosed spinning wild mouse rollercoaster, which features annually at Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park over the festive season.
It is presented by the UK-based Mellors Group, although the actual rollercoaster used inside the building has changed over the years.
The original incarnation of Ice Mountain appeared at Winter Wonderland in 2013 and used Darren Matthew's Crazy Mouse travelling spinning wild mouse coaster from Reverchon. Sadly the theming in its opening year left a lot to be desired, with riders complaining that once inside it felt very much like they were riding a rollercoaster through a dark shed. There were multiple holes in the roof and walls which let the light in, and the only real theming to be seen were some clouds suspended from the ceiling.
Luckily, the following year Ice Mountain was improved and the current incarnation has grown to become a favourite at Winter Wonderland. The ride hardware is now Ryan Crow's Magic Mouse (formerly owned by Mellors Group), and various theming and special effects have been added inside the building.
