Diverting to Leicester for a fun fair on the way to a wedding? I'm in!
Myself and a few coaster friends had been invited to the wedding of another ECC friend near Birmingham.
Meeting up the day before the wedding, what better way to spend an hour or so than diverting North-East for a trip to a
fun fair in Lecister's Abbey Park
and the chance to ride a kiddie coaster?!
Abbey Park's main car park was full, so I ended up parking at St Margaret's Pastures on the other side of the park
Walking through the park I could hear the fair ... finally I spotted some lorries!
But where's the entrance?
There it is!
We'd come along to ride the Puppy Power kiddie coaster
Paying the fare
Ride token
The coaster had a cool puppy dog theme - much more interesting than the ubiquitous giant caterpillars!
Riding around Abbey Park
We had lots of fun on the cute little coaster
After Puppy Power, we took a walk around the rest of the fair
It was quite extensive, with lots of rides and stalls
Cat and I took a ride on Ice Jet - Heather wasn't so keen!
We had a great fast ride
It was only a quick visit, but it was lovely to see the fair in the sunshine at the beautiful Abbey Park
