The final day of our tour of France took us to Parc Saint Paul
After a brief stop at the toilets (which absolutely stank) we were taken over to Wild Train for an ERS
Wild Train was manufactured by Pax
While the track itself was smooth, there were some nasty bangs
There weren't many people who wanted a second ride!
Our second ERS was on Wood Express
It is Parc Saint Paul's latest rollercoaster and their first woodie
It was small, but a good ride with lots of airtime
With the ERS and group photo out of the way, it was on to Aérotrain
Aérotrain is a slightly clunky old Vekoma
Somehow it managed to break down when it was our turn, and got stuck half way into the station on its return.
It was the first coaster I broke in two weeks, unlike some other trip participants!
The spinning mouse was probably the wildest most spinny of all of them on the trip
Dino Disk'O was one of the better themed rides
The log flume was an absolute soaker
We took a look inside the park's older walkthrough attractions
Our lunch venue was L'Auberge Rouge
It offered a large buffet selection, which was just what we needed
It clouded over as we waited for the boat ride around the lake, and it wasn't long before it started raining
It wasn't bad going to avoid almost any major rain for the entire two weeks, save for the last half an hour of the trip!
We made our way quickly back to the coach
The coach dropped us off at the airport, where we all said our goodbyes and started our journeys home
For me that began with a ride into Paris on the RER to wait for my Eurostar at Gare du Nord
Another tasty meal as we raced through the French countryside at 320km/h
Overall it had been a fantastic two weeks full of fun, thrills and friendships both old and new.
Along the way we had to battle through dodgy hotels and long coach journeys, but we survived and came away with some great memories and many new stories to tell!
